About Pattiejean

A Journey of Growth and Healing

At a pivotal moment in her life, Pattiejean felt an undeniable pull to dive deeper into something bigger than herself and explore new dimensions of life. As a mother of four and a teacher for over 20 years, she had always known there was more for her to discover.

She followed her love for yoga and completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and Meditation Teacher Certification, followed by an additional 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). She is also a certified Ayuryoga Teacher. But her journey didn’t stop there.

At age 60, Pattiejean made another leap—deciding to go back to school and study Ayurveda, becoming a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner at the Ayurvedic Institute, where she graduated in 2024.

Personal Loss and a New Path

A few months after completing her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, Pattiejean experienced unimaginable loss. Her daughter died unexpectedly, followed by the passing of her aunt two months later, her husband four months after that, and her father three months later.

In the face of this overwhelming grief, Pattiejean turned to Yoga and Ayurveda. These practices became her lifeline, helping her navigate the depth of her sorrow with grace and gratitude for the love she had shared. They guided her to listen to her heart, quiet her mind, and trust the process—opening the door to healing, balance, and a deeper connection with body, mind, and spirit.

Through this journey, she came to understand grief not as something to overcome, but as something that transforms us. When met with presence and care, grief becomes a profound teacher—offering us the opportunity to know ourselves more deeply and to love more fully. It expands our capacity for empathy, connection, and truth.

Moved by this realization, Pattiejean felt called to support others facing loss. This path led her to specialize in grief support, helping others navigate the complexities of sorrow and healing.

Today, she offers compassionate guidance for those who are grieving—whether the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a role, or a dream—using the wisdom of Ayurveda, Yoga, and mindfulness. She creates gentle, sacred spaces where grief can be witnessed, honored, and slowly transformed into wholeness.

Passion for Nourishing Life

Alongside her practice, Pattiejean continues to study, teach cooking classes, and loves growing plants and herbs. She is an explorer of aphrodisiacs and teaches sattvic sensuality, guiding others to embrace nourishing, mindful practices that make every moment of life not only delicious but deeply fulfilling.

Her motto, “Keep Life Yummy,” serves as a joyful reminder that life is meant to be savored—full of vitality, balance, and pleasure at every turn.

Empowering the Next Generation

With a heart full of love for both teaching and nurturing, Pattiejean draws on her 25 years of experience as a dedicated educator, as well as her role as a mother of four and a proud "Mimi" to five. Her passion for guiding young minds led her to teach Yoga 4 Kids, where she shares the transformative power of yoga and mindfulness, empowering the next generation to grow with strength, compassion, and balance.

A Lifelong Commitment to Learning

With a background in education, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and a passion for supporting others in their growth, Pattiejean now dedicates herself to guiding others on their journey to healing and well-being.  She has been interviewed on a podcast, where she shared her insights into the practices that have transformed her life.

Through it all, she continues to learn, study with amazing teachers, and hopes to inspire others as she was inspired. Her goal is to help people find balance, discover their true potential, and create a life filled with health, passion, and contentment—all while “Keeping Life Yummy.”
